Located at the rooftop of Ocean Terminal new extension building of Harbour City, the Observatory Deck named “Ocean Terminal Deck” is now open to the public for free. It is a five-storey complex situated at the end of Ocean Terminal and surrounded by the sea with its prime location extending to the centre of Victoria Harbour.

The form of the building is a direct response to its climatic context. Its wide cantilevered terraces provide shade and protect the lower levels from the tropical sun. Natural light can penetrate deep into the internal atrium through the glass of the steps and thanks to the efficiency luminaires, which not only save energy but strengthen the interaction between the interior and outdoors.
